In April 12th, a 3-peopledelegation from the University of Calgary (Canada) visited our school, holdinga campus talk about the "Southwest Petroleum University - University ofCalgary 2+2, 3+2 project” for the year 2016. The delegation consisted of LesleyRigg and Cindy Graham, dean and vice dean of Academy of Science of theUniversity of Calgary and sun qiao, ice dean of the Academy of engineering.
Before the talk, the delegation hada brief communication with leaders from School of Petroleum Engineering, Schoolof Geoscience and Technology, School of Chemical Engineering, School ofComputer Science, School of Science, School of Civil Engineering and the Officeof International Affairs. The two sides discussed the ways to deepencooperation projects. Subsequently, the campus talk was held in room C606 ofthe library with about 120 students being present. At the meeting, they introducedexhaustively the basic conditions of the University of Calgary, the admissionrequirements of the School of science and the School of engineering as well asthe foreign language proficiency requirements respectively to the participatingstudents.
